The ninth-generation S-AMT16 integrated transmission of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group adopts the ninth-generation Infineon controller with a computing power of over 300, reserved drive and peripherals, and independent tri-core to ensure future hardware requirements. The AMT control computer simulates driving habits, rationally achieving excellent driver operations, reducing the skill level requirement and driving intensity for drivers. With big data analysis and self-optimization learning capability, it precisely controls the timing of gear shifts in one step.

The HOWO TS7 high-horsepower gas vehicle, equipped with the ninth-generation S-AMT16 integrated transmission from China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC), features an AI intelligent control system and a WP15NG4.0 natural gas engine combined with an MCY axle to form the Wujie S power chain, delivering exceptional intelligent fuel-saving performance. The transmission software is integrated into CNHTC's self-developed PCU power domain controller, which can predict road conditions, optimize vehicle speed and gear selection based on this information, intelligently seek optimal settings, and improve driver behavior. Intelligent torque control technology enables smart mode recognition to anticipate user needs and dynamically adjust torque response for better fuel efficiency. Additionally, the transmission is equipped with PCC map cruise functionality; over 20 million kilometers of testing have been conducted on the entire vehicle to calibrate it using electronic maps that foresee upcoming terrain and road conditions to adjust power output accordingly and match the best gear for saving fuel consumption. The fully integrated calibration of the whole vehicle ensures that all components of the Wujie S power chain are original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts working together seamlessly in multiple modes to enhance overall performance by improving driving dynamics and transmission efficiency—leading industry standards in complete vehicle performance. The shifting lifespan has been increased from 2.5 million times to 8 million times with a B10 life of 2 million kilometers. The main gearbox uses a three-section structure and helical double intermediate shafts for stronger load capacity; the shaft center distance is 10mm larger than industry products for greater and more reliable load-bearing capacity. The auxiliary box employs a planetary reduction mechanism with industry-leading forced lubrication and replaceable filter elements for added protection.
