Sitrak takes the top spot in market share for the first time in Russia

According to data from January 2024, in the Russian heavy truck market, Chinese manufacturer Sitrak's monthly sales have exceeded those of the Russian domestic brand KAMAZ for the first time. This data was reported by the Autostat agency.

In January, Sitrak accounted for one-fifth of all truck sales, selling a total of 1473 units, with a market share of 20%. The brand's sales volume increased by 49% over the course of a year. KAMAZ, on the other hand, had a market share of 18%, selling a total of 1385 units. Ranking third is also a Chinese truck brand, Shaanxi Automobile Group's Shacman, which sold 925 units in January, capturing a market share of 12%.

As of now, Chinese brand trucks hold a market share of over 60% in the Russian truck market.
